As the former Director of Agudath Israel’s New Jersey office, he built strong ties with policymakers and worked to advance religious rights, education funding, and community welfare.

Originally from Brooklyn and a longtime Lakewood resident, Rabbi Schnall is recognized for uniting diverse groups around shared goals and offering practical, Torah-based solutions to modern challenges. Elected in 2023 as a Democrat representing New Jersey’s 30th District, he continues to focus on tuition relief, religious liberties, and strengthening families and communities across the state.
