The day I spent in a nursing home | Yiddish

Day 7 of my 50-state road trip was supposed to be routine.
It wasn’t.
Out of all the states, highways, and sleepovers, this was the day that genuinely scared me — walking into a nursing home to film a commercial. What I expected and what actually happened couldn’t have been more different, and it turned into one of the most meaningful moments of the entire journey.
This episode includes Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, New York City, and Baltimore — but the heart of it all was a behind-the-scenes commercial shoot with CardRight that changed how I look at this trip.
Part 7 of 50 Days, 50 States.
