The songs of Ken Burgess continue to touch the soul, because they were born from the soul.

When the first tribute collection was released, it reintroduced Ken’s music to a new generation and reminded longtime listeners of its quiet power. But it also revealed something else: there was still more to share.

For that reason, Eli Marcus once again partnered with Chaim Bokchin to release Part 2 of the tribute to Ken Burgess A”H. This collection reaches deeper into Ken’s catalog, uncovering melodies that reflect his personal growth, his emunah, and his unmistakable sincerity. These are songs that were never meant to chase trends, but to serve something higher. Part 2 continues what Part 1 began, ensuring that Ken Burgess A”H’s music remains alive, relevant, and heard.

Ken Burgess’s journey was as remarkable as his music. Not born Jewish, Ken was already a highly successful producer, composer, and arranger, helping bring multiple artists to gold and platinum records. A deeply spiritual person, he discovered Judaism in the early 1980s and eventually converted k’halacha.

After moving to Eretz Yisrael, Ken faced significant challenges. In a moment of deep faith, he promised Hashem that if the doors opened for him, he would never leave the Holy Land. That promise shaped the rest of his life and career. Ken went on to release three solo albums and collaborated with some of Jewish music’s most influential artists, including Mordechai Ben David, Yeedle, and a then-new talent named Ohad.

Later, Ken opened a high-end recording studio, introducing a new level of sound, depth, and production quality to Jewish music. His influence extended far beyond individual albums, he helped shape an era.

This second tribute is more than a continuation. It is a deeper look into the heart of a musician whose work was driven by faith, humility, and purpose, and whose music continues to uplift long after the final note.
